Camp Manitoqua
September 24, 25, 26th 2010
Total Cost $130 Per Student


This year our fall retreat is all about “getting off the ground” and “reaching new heights” spiritually, and relationally with others.  At LIFT 2010 you’ll be challenged to climb higher than you’ve ever been before!
Here’s what you can expect…
On Friday Night registration begins at 4:00 PM
From there we’ll load up in the bh bus and head to camp
We’ll stopping along the way for dinner which is included in the price of the retreat!
Once we’re there we’ll show you around (where you’ll sleep, eat, and more)
And we’ll kick of the retreat!

Saturday we’ll spend most of our day on Climbing Walls, High Ropes, Zip Lines and Rope Bridges in the Adventure Zone!

In the evening we’ll gather to learn together and reflect on the day.

There will be plenty of free time in our schedule as well!

On Saturday night we’ll watch a movie together before our late night camp fire

On Sunday morning we’ll wake up for Breakfast

We’ll have a short “closing session” and then we’ll clean up and head back to CCC.

We’ll get back to CCC just before the end of the 2nd Sunday Morning worship service (about 11:00 am)

What to bring:

  • Tennis Shoes are a MUST!!!  (no sandals)
  • Comfortable MODEST clothing is the “in style” for this retreat
  • Leave your Jewelry at home
  • Bring your sleeping bag, pillow, sheets and bath towels.
  • Bring your friends with you.
  • Leave your cell phones at home!
  • Leave your ipod at home!
  • Bring snacks for your adult leaders (optional but recommended if you want to win their favor :)

Download a Permission Slip and turn it in with your down payment of $20.
Total Cost for LIFT Fall Retreat is $130.00

Please Download a Cabin Conduct Form from Camp Manitoqua and fill it out as well.

I could spend weeks talking about my own challenges in working with parents during my 25+ years in youth ministry.
