A lot more than you think. The people responsible for the tower of Babel, the uh Babel-ers we’ll call them, took the technology, the tools of their day and used them in a way that elevated themselves and took God out of the picture. And the reality is that you and I have tools in our hands, the technology of our day, that we take and use in similar ways. The technology itself isn’t bad or good. It’s neutral. But like the people of Babel, how we choose to use the technology is important—it reflects the kind of relationship we have with it. And the right kind of relationship with technology will help us to do the right kinds of things with it.

Babel Series will start Aug 29th.
NOTE: Brickhouse is closed Labor Day Weekend September 5th.

Sometimes you can stand in a room or walk down a hallway or sit in a chair and no one notices you. It’s not that you have some type of special ability that makes you invisible—people just don’t see you. They know nothing about you—nor do they seem to want to know anything about you. It’s like you’re not even there, even when you are physically in the room. You’re invisible. The good news is Jesus sees invisible people! The closer we get to him the more we’ll learn to see invisible people too!

As her checklist of complaints started building, I tried to end the phone call, telling her it would just be better for us to get together soon and talk things over…. read more by clicking the link below!

Groups are created around a common interest such as; basketball, scrap booking, ball room dancing, bowling, flood relief, photography, video games, etc. MiGroup leaders are adults from Crossroads Church who have been approved to work with students. A MiGroup season last from 6 to 8 weeks. Aside from the interest base, group leaders also choose one of our three CCC core values to express through their group gatherings; CONNCET, GROW, or CONTRIBUTE. Students can sign up for new MiGroups at Brickhouse a few weeks prior to the beginning of the newest MiGroup season.
